Designer Bio 

Ariana Olivia Bolaños

           Bolaños’ background begins at just 6 years old with learning how to draw, and mastering the home sewing machine at 10. Bolaños’ fashion studies include a semester at FIT for fashion design, an associates degree from WCC that blends videography, writing, and social sciences, as well as a bachelor's degree in product development from Columbia College Chicago.

 

            In addition to schooling, Bolaños has dynamic industry experience ranging from production assistance for the brands: Mila Sullivan, Utopia by Peder Cho, Laurence & Chico, and more, to freelance couturier work for influencers and performing artists like: Pam Lima, Amora Laini, Hotel Fiction, Lauren Blackford, and more. Bolaños' intern experience includes 8 months with The Joffrey Ballet, as well as her current social media manaagement position with the bridal brand Goli June, and stitcher of Driven to Dance costumes.  

 

             Bolaños’ biggest inspirations when designing are drawn from fantasy as well as the real world, and the line between: spirituality & the afterlife. As an avid human, animal, and planet welfare activist, Bolaños aims to balance her love for fashion with responsibility by designing every arrri piece to be sustainably & ethically crafted, as well as inclusive. When Bolaños isn’t working on a collection, she is either editing digital content, writing in her journal, or planning her next collection.
